Lieutenant Egan

Lt. Egan is a graduate of Stockton University with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice, as well as having a Practical Traffic Engineering Certificate from Rutgers University. In addition, Lt. Egan is a FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award recipient after completing their Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute and Executive Leadership Institute.

Lt. Egan started his career with the Robbinsville Township Police Department in August of 2006 as a Patrol Officer. In October of 2013 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and served as a Patrol Supervisor. He was then assigned as the Traffic Unit Supervisor and Community Relations Officer in August of 2016. In February of 2022 he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and serves as the Patrol Division Commander, Communications Officers Commander, Community Relations Officer, Deputy Emergency Manager Coordinator, and our Department’s Resiliency Officer.
