NOTICE REGARDING VEHICLE IMPOUND RELEASE
BE ADVISED: You must visit the Robbinsville Police Department in person to obtain a Vehicle Impound Release.
Required Documentation:
- Clear photographs of your driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and registration must be submitted.
- You must be the registered owner listed on the submitted registration to obtain a release.
- If the registered owner cannot be present, you must provide a notarized authorization letter allowing the vehicle’s release.
- If the party requesting the vehicle release (owner or authorized representative) does not have a valid driver’s license, a licensed driver must accompany them and provide their identification.
“Tow Only” Releases:
- If you intend to arrange a private towing service (a company other than the one currently holding the vehicle), the tow truck driver must accompany you to the Robbinsville Police Department.
- The tow truck driver must present their driver’s license, proof of insurance, and proof of insurance coverage for the tow vehicle.
- Title and proof of identification must be provided for the vehicle being released.
