2026 Youth Academy August 24-28

The Robbinsville Township Police Department Youth Police Academy is a program designed to provide its participants with first-hand knowledge of the duties and responsibilities required of a Robbinsville Township Police Officer.

The Youth Police Academy will involve physical fitness, hands-on practical exercises, classroom activities, and police demonstrations. Some of the topics that will be covered include crime scene
investigation, arrest procedures, motor vehicle stops, fire safety, defensive tactics, basic first aid, and much more. The program will help build self-confidence and discipline while strengthening the bond between our officers and the youth in our community.

The Youth Police Academy will be open to any student entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in September of 2026 and runs from August 24 to August 28 at Police Headquarters located at the David Fried Municipal Complex at 2300 Route 33. Daily sessions are from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Participants who attend will be given a tee-shirt and cap, which they will be required to wear on a daily basis. Attendees will also need to bring a packed lunch and water bottle Monday through Thursday
(Robbinsville PBA Local #344 will provide lunch on Friday). Graduation will be held on Friday, August 28 at 1 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend.

ELIGIBILITY: Any student entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in September 2026.
